  1. On 9 October 2014, the Canadian Internet Forum (CIF) 2014 met in Ottawa \u2014 the fourth year (and fifth national event) of a consultation combining in-person meetings, a national event and a year-round online dialogue.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. As in previous years, digital literacy, cyber-security and internet governance were the three pillars; the findings were shared through the media and presented to the UN IGF.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. That December CIRA also made the first corporate contribution to the IGF Support Association \u2014 pairing domestic consultation with financial support for global governance, a model for how a national IGF can be sustained.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
