  1. Slovenia's second national IGF, SloIGF 2017, met on 17 October 2017 at Hotel Slon in central Ljubljana, opened by National Assembly President Dr Milan Brglez as honorary patron.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Three pillars framed the day \u2014 open technologies and open society, countering online extremism while safeguarding human rights, and privacy and security for the Internet's future \u2014 with ISOC, ICANN and SEEDIG representatives attending.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. The forum doubled as the launch event for SEEDIG 2018, the South-East European dialogue held in Slovenia the following spring \u2014 a model of a national IGF feeding a regional one.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
