  1. On 6 November 2018 the 13th Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF 2018) met for one day at CIRDAP's Chameli House in central Dhaka \u2014 the annual meeting of a national IGF founded back in 2006.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The UN IGF Secretariat's 2018 list of NRI annual meetings records it officially as 'Bangladesh IGF, 6 November, Dhaka', a multistakeholder gathering of government, civil society and the technical community.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Few detailed records of the sessions survive, but the format \u2014 an in-person forum at CIRDAP \u2014 carried on in the following years, and keeping the dialogue alive mattered in the year Bangladesh's Digital Security Act was enacted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
