  1. The fifth Bosnia and Herzegovina IGF met at the Swissotel Sarajevo on 28 November 2024 under the theme 'Shaping Responsible Internet Governance \u2013 Connecting Local Challenges with Global Solutions'.<\/strong><\/li>\n

Three panels \u2014 the lag in systemic governance, big-platform content moderation in small countries, and disinformation and AI \u2014 were flanked by a keynote from rights expert Dunja Mijatovi\u0107 and speakers from the UN IGF Secretariat and EFF; recommendations went on to IGF 2024 in Riyadh.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. One finding ran through the day: BiH is the only country in the region without a national digital-security strategy. And its complaint \u2014 that platforms ignore small markets \u2014 echoes for every small country online.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
