  1. On 22 January 2025, the 7th IGF Guatemala convened at INTECAP in Guatemala City \u2014 the same venue as the 2019 third edition \u2014 restarting the national dialogue after a gap of more than two years since the sixth forum closed in September 2022.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The meeting is registered as the NRI's annual meeting in the UN IGF's official records, but little programme material has been published and no report was submitted to the UN; the restart itself is the headline outcome.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Even one of Latin America's steadiest NRIs, which powered through the 2020\u20132022 virtual years, can stall when its community tires \u2014 and its comeback, bridging to an announced 8th edition on 5 November 2026, is a case study in keeping a national IGF alive.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
