The 1st Ukrainian Internet Governance Forum (IGF-UA 2010) met in Kyiv on 3\u20134 September 2010, launched by InAU, Kyiv International University, EuroDIG and the European Media Platform as a standing platform bringing government, business, the internet community and academia to one table.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Legislation and the digital divide dominated: parliament outlined ten internet-related bills for the year, while one stark figure \u2014 Kyiv holding 56 percent of the country's internet access against roughly 3.5 percent of the population in the regions \u2014 framed the access debate.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. One of Eastern Europe's earliest national IGFs, its EuroDIG-wired design became the template for Ukraine's internet policy dialogue and the starting point of an unbroken sixteen-year annual series.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
