  1. On 18 July 2022, the Youth African IGF met for a full day in the Mvuu Room of the Bingu Wa Mutharika International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, Malawi \u2014 the official pre-event of the 11th African IGF (theme: Digital Inclusion and Trust in Africa) starting the next day.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Speakers included UN IGF Secretariat head Chengetai Masango, UNECA staff and youth-network leaders from across the continent, and the day hosted the second capacity-development workshop of the UN's newly created IGF Youth Track.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. It was the moment Africa's youth IGF plugged formally into the UN's youth-capacity pipeline, framing the post-COVID digital divide as a problem to be solved across generations.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
