  1. On 5 August 2019 the fourth Youth LACIGF met at the Escuela Militar de Ingenier\u00eda (EMI) in La Paz, Bolivia \u2014 48 young people from 11 countries in a full-day programme (9:30 am to 7 pm) with 7 presentations.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Listed on the official LACIGF 12 programme as the '4to YouthLACIGF', it previewed the main meeting's agenda \u2014 free expression, AI, cybersecurity, connectivity gaps \u2014 through a youth lens.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. It proved to be the last in-person edition before COVID: the fellowship system that flew young people into the Andean highlands was upended by the shift online the following year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
