  1. On 28\u201330 June 2017 the fifth Cameroon national IGF, IGF.CM-17, met in the festival hall of the Kribi urban community on the Atlantic coast, themed 'Internet governance and social networks.'<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Three days spanned rights and technology alike: how to regulate social media, the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms, IPv6 deployment, IXPs, the .cm domain, cloud computing and the national digital strategy 2020.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. That same year an internet shutdown of roughly three months had hit the two anglophone regions \u2014 and its exclusion from the agenda drew civil-society criticism. What could and could not be discussed became the real story.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
