  1. On 17\u201319 June 2020 the eighth Cameroon national IGF, IGF.CM-20, met at the H\u00f4tel Sawa in Douala under the theme 'Data governance', with sessions livestreamed because of the pandemic.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The agenda covered government data-governance policy, confidentiality of .cm domain registration data, legal protection of personal data, monitoring of the national cyberspace, and countering misinformation spread via social media.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Opening the forum, ANTIC's director-general warned of a 'dizzying spread' of false information riding the internet's speed and anonymity. The forum's resolutions became Cameroon's position for the regional IGF cycle.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
