IT visionary Linnar Viik and essayist Valdur Mikita opened with the story of Estonia and the internet, followed by debates on state control and online freedom, digital literacy, the Internet of Things, and the internet as the economy's lubricant \u2014 what could be the next Skype or TransferWise?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. The e-state's registry thereby launched a citizen-facing national-IGF-style dialogue; the free-of-charge, Estonian-language format became the template for the decade that followed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
