  1. On 3\u20135 November 2021, Mozambique's first national Internet Governance Forum, FGIMz2021, met in hybrid form at the Gl\u00f3ria Hotel in Maputo under the theme 'For an accessible and inclusive Internet.'<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Led by the science ministry MCTES and the ICT institute INTIC, a 19-member multistakeholder preparatory committee planned the event, and registration with the UN IGF Secretariat plugged Mozambique formally into the global IGF process.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. In a country marked by high connectivity costs and a stark urban\u2013rural divide, putting access and inclusion first was emblematic \u2014 and FGIMz went on to become an annual fixture.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
